CONTENT

Lindsay wears many hats--Creative Director, Editor, Strategic Thinker, Writer, and Stylist--as a developer of brand identity and content across multimedia platforms. Whether written word or visuals driven, analog or digital, front-and-center is the story and its audience, context and intention. Since the onset of her career, she has worked with brands to help identify this story and how they express it from ideation stages. Throughout the development process and often working with several players, she ensures the details ring true to the big picture, original story and authentic voice of the brand.

FLOWERS

Following a six-week apprenticeship, Fall 2007 in New York City, with world-renown floral designer Michael George, Lindsay opened her floral design studio Green Lady. As a forerunner of the farm-to-vase movement, Green Lady drives decision-making processes with principles of sustainability. Green Lady provided the flowers for the stage shrine of His Holiness Dalai Lama at KFC YUM Center and for the guest residence and celebrations of HRH Prince Charles upon his visit to Louisville. Green Lady also designed the flowers for the first wedding held in the Speed Art Museum North Addition. The studio offers floral services for weddings and events and welcomes collaboration with event planners and designers.

VISUAL DESIGN

Through Visual Design, Lindsay discovered her passion for crafting worlds that immerse participants in experiences of wonder, community, thought, memory making and when possible--fantasy, wit and delight. She also found her path as an installation artist and accepts commissions for work that brings statement, focal point and energy to a space or event. Visual Design is about more than decor. It activates the senses, whether to quiet or thrill them, and in the process, cultivates an unforgettable experience that brings people into the moment, makes them feel good, connects them with one another, and motivates them to share the joy.

SPACES

Lindsay officially started translating her design abilities toward residential interior projects in 2017 when a visual design client secured her services to renovate the downstairs of his river house. She views her role as harmonizer of the relationship between the homeowner's lifestyle and personal aesthetic with the space's own character and integrity. There's an alchemical reaction that occurs to create a truly unique design when these elements merge. Like her visual design, Lindsay takes an immersive, experiential approach. Although she finds much inspiration in Nature, she keeps things fresh and personal, rather than adhering to a particular style code. Specialties include color scheme design, lighting design and maximizing spatial flow. Her work includes major renovations to small decor and interior styling projects.
